Papa Blue is our biggie! It’s Jazz. It’s the memory of sitting on my father’s lap as a child, dipping cookies into his coffee while conversations about music, books, and life float through the room. The beginning of a wonderful friendship with coffee, interesting people, and slowing down long enough to listen. A little Hemming truth, a little Biggie-Smalls hype, a little Harlem soul. A coffee built on memory, comfort, and craft.
Grown organically in the remote Highlands of Papua New Guinea. These very rare, volcanic beans are cultivated by smallholder farming families at high altitude in cool mountain air. Lightly roasted just above Norwegian style, we preserve the natural character of the bean rather than smothering it in smoke. The result is a silky, elegant coffee with notes of brown sugar, stone fruit, roasted nuts, soft spice, like Billy Holiday humming a dream into your morning.

Beans: Arusha and Typica heirloom lineage grown in PNG Eastern Highlands
Process: Washed, patio-dried
